We are going to share a few things each week with regards to women health and exercise.
This weeks post is on Menopause as every women experiences it. π
βIt is a natural decline in reproductive hormones when a woman reaches her 40s or 50s.
Menopause is signalled by 12 months since last menstruation.β
Symptoms of menopause include hot flushes, night sweats, joint pain, weight gain, bone loss and insomnia. The health concerns described above can have a negative impact on women’s health and overall quality of life. π«ππ‘π¦΅π½
Treatment: Physical activity and exercise have been shown to help with joint pain and reduce the risk of osteoporosis by building bone strength, and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, depression and obesity. π©πΌββοΈππ½ββοΈ
